Biography

Bart Kale started his career at Colorado State University in 1978 earning a B.S. degree from the College of Natural Resources, majoring in Wildlife Biology. After numerous internships with both the Federal Government and private industry he went to work for the Utah State Divison of Oil Gas and Mining conducting environmental compliance inspections. In 1986 he transitioned to the private sector conducting environmental studies and preparing environmental permits for the mining industry. In 1991 Bart went to work in the Steel industry, managing environmetal affairs, community and media relations, political relationships, permit requirements and environmental compliance. After retiring from the steel industry Bart seeks to take his 32 years in both the private and public sector and manage common sense approaches to the numerous conflicts that manifest themselves between industrial and community priorities.
